HUM 170 The Holocaust

This course provides a survey of the destruction of European Jewry by the Nazis during World War II. Topics include the anti-Semitic ideology, bureaucratic structures, and varying conditions of European occupation and domination under the Third Reich. Upon completion, students should be able to demonstrate an understanding of the historical, social, religious, political, and economic factors which cumulatively resulted in the Holocaust. This course has been approved to satisfy the Comprehensive Articulation Agreement for transferability as a pre-major and/or elective course requirement.
