Services for Students with Disabilities

The college’s goal is to ensure equal opportunity and access to all programs and facilities consistent with state and federal law as well as best practices.

Services for students with disabilities are coordinated through Student Services. It is the student’s responsibility to provide documentation of their disability so that the college can arrange for necessary services. Requests for services should be made prior to the beginning of each term. This process can take several weeks depending on circumstances, so students are encouraged to begin this process as early as possible. Every reasonable effort will be made to accommodate all students; however, if requests are not received in a timely manner prior to the time the student needs accommodations, it may not be possible to provide the necessary services until a later date.
