HIS 231 Recent American History
This course is a study of American society from the post-Depression era to the present. Topics include World War II, the Cold War, social unrest, the Vietnam War, the Great Society, and current political trends. Upon completion, students should be able to analyze significant political, socioeconomic, and cultural developments in recent America. This course has been approved to satisfy the Comprehensive Articulation Agreement for transferability as a pre-major and/or elective course requirement.
